Singin' in the Rain

Singin' in the Rain stars Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds (mother of "Princess Leia Organa" Carrie Fisher), Donald O'Connor, Jean Hagen and Cyd Charisse. It has been hailed as "the greatest musical picture of all-time." It is Technicolor in all it's glory. 2. I thinks there is a lot of validity in the comparisons from the stand point of cinematic spectical. To me Lucas has a vaudvillian quality to his alein sceens. Don't really dig it myself.
