My Day Job

Like most artists, I have another job that pays the bills. I'm fortunate enough that it taps into my writing and producing experience. As a Sales Strategy Producer for QVC and HSN (yes, the home shopping channels), I help structure the television presentation by providing an outline of the conversation, key sales copy phrases to use and how to verbally and visually tell the story of the product. There is no script but there are carefully crafted notes by yours truly. Gathering video and graphic support that helps shape the story and collaborating with a superior live television production team in the studios also fall under my purview. A Little More About The Author

Chris Mich has written, directed, and produced several short films and television productions that have been honored in multiple venues including Berlin International Film Festival, Houston WorldFest, and, most recently, the Under The Floorboards and Burabay International Film Festivals. He’s also written for theater, newspaper and electronic retailing. 

His classic film blog, Digging Star Wars, won the 2023 Classic Film Reading Challenge Award and has been involved in the Museum of Science Fiction, The Jimmy Stewart Musuem, the historic Colonial Theatre, and multiple podcasts and YouTube Series. 

Chris co-founded both the QVC InterFaith Team Member Resource Group and founded the QVC Spoilers Film Club Affinity Group. He has appeared as a guest on Living My Faith TV and is an active Fourth Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 7208. His membership into the Catholic Artist Alliance is truly exciting for him and he looks forward to new projects that point more people to Christ.
