2025 is a big year for Digging Star Wars.
Not only is Digging Star Wars celebrating the 40th anniversary of the grandfather of all anime Robotech, it’s the 15th anniversary of the blog come this October. And, if that wasn’t enough, my blog and yours truly has the seat of honor in new “Bring Your Spring” show in the QVC T.A.L.E.N.T. Art Gallery!
For the next three months, I’m the Featured Artist in May, June and July at QVC’s T.A.L.E.N.T. Art Gallery. My display features my classic film blog Digging Star Wars and additional samples of my film vlogs, writings and appearances.
There’s huge prints of previous Digging Star Wars blog entries in the exhibit. Here’s a list of links to the entries featured:
• Top 100 Henry Mancini Films: #10-1
• Mancini with John Williams (and more!): An Interview with Sound Engineer Richard Wheeler
• Star Wars Role Playing Games (1987+) and The Mandalorian S1:E6
• 40 Films In Robotech: Julius Caesar (1953)
The T.A.L.E.N.T. Gallery is also featuring Digging Star Wars vlog episodes from our early years (our first three “seasons”):
And if that wasn’t enough, the gallery features video recordings of live appearances I’ve made in my Henry Mancini tour last year – including my introductions to Two for the Road (1967) at The Colonial Theatre and The Glenn Miller Story (1954) at The Jimmy Stewart Museum. They even have our video recap countdown of Top 100 Henry Mancini Films.
The exhibit is open to all QVC Group team members, on-air guests, and LIVE studio audience members. An interactive display features a laptop for gallerygoers to surf my blog. Free “40 Films in Robotech” stickers await each gallery visitor.
The exhibit is run by the internal Affinity Group T.A.L.E.N.T. – which stands for “Team member Artists Learning & Exhibiting Notable Talent”. Thanks to QVC and the T.A.L.E.N.T. Group for this honor.
Congratulations Chris, your hard work and passion deserves to be recognized!
